"My experience with Baja Nutri Care was wonderful. What a
pleasant surprise to find how small the clinic is, with only 10
rooms, making it the perfect environment for a cancer patient. It
doesn’t feel like a hospital, instead it feels like home.
As the companion of a patient, I felt very relaxed knowing there
are doctors and nurses I could call upon 24 hours a day.
Mealtime, with other patients and companions, gave me an opportunity
to cope with the challenges of taking care of my mom alone. I also
learned a lot, sharing with the other patients and their companions.
It was encouraging to hear of patients, past or present, who have
improved or recovered. The openness offered to me by the other patients
allowed me to make some new friends with people of a different culture.
The clinic’s close proximity to the beach offered me, as
the caregiver a nice break. I had a great time taking short walks
to the beach, and going on a shopping trip. It’s very important
that the caregivers get a break and take a breather.
I was impressed with the cheerfulness and dedication shown by the
entire staff.
I had a wonderful and pleasant time at the clinic."
